Kyma Technologies Announces Key Staffing Changes

Kyma Technologies, Inc., a leading supplier of ultra-high purity crystalline gallium nitride (GaN) and aluminum nitride (AlN) materials and related products and services, has recently made several key staffing changes as it heads into its third year of continuous growth and profitability.

Recent additions to the Kyma team include:

  • Mr. Ron Jacobs, Safety Officer and Crystal Growth Specialist
  • Mr. Doug Kipp, Wafering Manager
  • Dr. Bob Metzger, Chief Engineer
  • Mr. Greg Mulholland, Director of Engineering
  • Mr. Tony Smith, Crystal Growth Specialist
  • Ms. Tamara Stephenson, Technical Sales and Crystal Growth Engineer
  • Mr. Kevin Udwary, Senior Production Engineer

Also noted is the departure of Dr. Drew Hanser, who was Kyma's CTO before leaving the company earlier this year.

Company COO and VP of Finance, Dr. Edward Preble commented, “Our current year commercial revenues have already surpassed our 2008 numbers, and our government support is also at a record level.  We are thankful for the many opportunities we are seeing and for the validation and support our customers have provided.”

The company expects to add several more new hires later this year and in 2010 as it seeks to add several new products to its product line and to expand its capacity for several existing products.
