Kyma Technologies, Inc., a leading supplier of ultra-high purity crystalline gallium nitride (GaN) and aluminum nitride (AlN) materials and related products and services, today announced the launch of its newly revamped website which was engineered by Mr. Aadhithya Mukund who interned with the company this summer.

The website remains relatively simple, is easy to navigate, and can be reached either by www.kymatech.com or www.galliumnitride.com.  In the future the latter URL will point to a primarily technology and applications oriented site associated with the rapidly growing nitride semiconductor materials and device market.

Mr. Mukund is working on his Masters Degree at North Carolina State University (NCSU) in Electrical Engineering.  His internship with Kyma focused in part on revamping Kyma’s website to both modernize its look and to make it easy to expand and update.  He also helped the company build up its databasing capabilities with an emphasis on capturing opportunities and improvements in backend processing, which for Kyma includes slicing, polishing, and characterization of crystalline nitride semiconductor substrates.

During his internship, Mr. Mukund reported directly to Kyma’s Director of Engineering, Greg Mulholland, who offered, “It was great to work with Aadhithya, who helped us with several important opportunities for the company.  He added not only human capacity but also added value in everything he did.”

According to Keith Evans, Kyma’s president and CEO, “We are proud of what Aadhithya achieved in such a short time.  He works extremely well both in teams and on his own.  He is a bright and gentle person who has a great future.  We have made it clear to him that we would love for him to join our team in the near-term, and, if he decides to pursue a PhD instead, we would support him collaboratively if his dissertation topic overlaps with the technology space that Kyma is in.”
