Kyma Chief Scientist Presents Invited Paper at International Workshop on Nitride Semiconductors

Kyma Technologies, Inc., a leading supplier of ultra-high purity crystalline gallium nitride (GaN) and aluminum nitride (AlN) materials and related products and services, today announced that its Chief Scientist, Dr. Tanya Paskova, will present an invited paper at the International Workshop on Nitride Semiconductors (IWN 2010) to be held next week in Tampa, Florida, USA.

Dr. Paskova’s invited talk, to be given on the morning of Monday, September 20th at 9:30AM, is entitled “Bulk Nitride Semiconductor Materials” and will review the current status of crystalline GaN substrate manufacturing and the connection between bulk nitride materials and nitride semiconductor device performance.

Several other presentations and posters based on materials and device studies led by Kyma’s collaboration partners and using Kyma’s materials will also be given at IWN 2010.

“The leading position of Tanya’s talk and the impressive results being presented by our collaboration partners at IWN 2010 is great to see,” said Dr. Keith Evans, Kyma President & CEO.  “Kyma’s team and our partners have been working hard to improve and validate our materials in a broad range of applications.  We are pleased to participate in this important and highly technical conference, to help assess how far we have come, and to network with others to help pave the way forward.”
